Check out something regarding "Bob's Game," a homebrew Nintendo DS game that took over 15,000 hours to do, all done by one individual.

Allow me to expand. Sadly, once he approached Nintendo, they basically said, "Meh. No thanks." After staging a protest, he gave up, realizing his dream wasn't going to come true.
I, however, want this game. I hope it comes out on Xbox Live's Arcade, because that would be a wonderful place for it.
I feel for this guy. He alone made everything for this game. Think about any game you've played, or movie you saw if you aren't a gamer. Try writing, creating the artwork, programming, testing, making music, everything. By yourself. For over a decade.
