Some say he's banned in forty US states. Some also say he was created in a lab for the BBC. All we know is, he's called...

The Stig. Okay, I couldn't bring myself to spoil it. But apparently, he's been unmasked.

Apparently it's the secret that everyone knew, just never said out loud. Some people are bummed, but I'm still going to love Top Gear and wish that I had BBC America so I could watch the new episodes every week, Monday at 8 PM.

For those who don't know, Top Gear is the best car show in existence. There is no question. Check out some of their awesome exploits on YouTube

And now for something different

All the political talk makes me unhappy, so here's some nifty videos of cars and the like.

A rotary engine putting out 1664 HP. (This is unnatural. Turn down your volume a hair unless you want to blow your ear out.)

Sticking with rotary engines, here's a second generation Mazda RX-7 holding a burnout for 3 minutes before blowing his engine clean up. (Not as in explosion, as in he's gonna need a new engine.) Fun tip, watch the front of the hood. Those hoods were hinged in the front!

Here's an R33 Nissan Skyline (I think I drooled on my keyboard...) getting whipped by the million dollar McLaren F1.

Here's a well executed nitrous oxide purge on a Cobra.

Defining "Irony"

Photobucket

Might be an old picture. If I have to explain it, nevermind.
