File this one under "You let someone do WHAT?"

Meat packaging companies have been injecting carbon monoxide into their packages to make the meat appear like it's fresh and good, and it could be as old as a year. I don't have any information handy, but I heard it on Clark Howard today, and he's generally trustworthy on consumer problems.

Unfortunately, you and Clark Howard are right about this. Meat that is a year old! Yuck! I think I will become vegetarian.

By the way, I enjoyed listening to "Les pĂȘcheurs de perles (The Pearl Fishers)" by Georges Bizet. I did not know you like opera!
